The Grand Finale: A Celebration of your Generosity

Your involvement in the event helped raise an incredible $160,000 dollars after expenses and moved Miller-Dwan Foundation’s HopeX initiative forward in a significant way. Every dollar raised will go directly toward transforming mental health care and eliminating the mental health crisis right here in the Twin Ports. That’s what HopeX is all about. Together, we are multiplying HOPE.

Celebrate Being a Force for Good

Zak Williams, son of actor and comedian Robin Williams, joined us as our keynote speaker. Zak is a passionate global mental health advocate, entrepreneur and father and will be working alongside Miller-Dwan Foundation as we launch HopeX, our revolutionary response to eliminating the mental health crisis in our region.

His involvement with mental health advocacy has included being:

U.S. trustee of United for Global Mental Health and board member of mental health awareness and advocacy nonprofit, Bring Change 2 Mind, founded by Glenn Close.
An advisor for Inseparable, a national organization innovating programmatic mental health policy.
A proud keynote speaker at a reception at the United Nations General Assembly where he announced the launch of #SpeakYourMind campaign, a global mental health movement intended to amplify the needs of underserved communities, too often unseen and unheard.
Part of Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry groundbreaking documentary series on Apple TV+ entitled “The Me You Can’t See.”
Co-author of “How 988 Will Transform America’s Approach to Mental Health” for Time magazine. Co-executive producer of “Call For Help,” examining the promises and perils of the new 988 Hotline. He has also been engaged to be featured in PSAs launching 988 nationwide.
