Cannabis use on college campuses is increasing. Join the Miller-Dwan Foundation and Lauretta Perry, Drug and Alcohol Educator at the University of Minnesota Duluth, to learn more about how cannabis affects student behavior and wellness, and how its use differs from alcohol.
Lauretta Perry has been providing harm reduction education and advocacy in the areas of drugs, alcohol and sexuality to high schools and institutions of higher learning for over 25 years. Her tenure at the University of Minnesota Duluth has included the development of a Medical Amnesty policy, which was later used in support for the 2013 Minnesota State law; research on college student attitudes and behaviors surrounding cannabis use; and sexual violence prevention program development. Ms. Perry completed her undergraduate work in Community Health through the University of Wisconsin Superior and an individualized master’s program through the University of Minnesota Duluth addressing sociological implications on community health.
