For 20 years, the Miller-Dwan Foundation has hosted ARTcetera, our region’s leading fundraising event designed to transform healthcare in our area. Every year, we receive remarkable, and often one-of-a-kind donations from our community’s businesses, citizens and beyond – all because they believe in the Foundation’s work and the difference we make right here in our own region.

Over the years, ARTcetera proceeds have filled healthcare gaps and created some of our area’s most meaningful healthcare options – options that serve you, your employees, neighbors and loved ones. By being a sponsor, you can create healthier people, healthier families and a healthier community.

Sponsorship benefits:

  • Demonstrate your company’s support for taking bold steps to create change in our community.
  • Highlight your corporate responsibility.
  • Emphasize your leadership in advancing the health and well-being.
  • Increase your brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Market your brand directly to a targeted audience of high net worth consumers.

  • Your healthcare Foundation

The Miller-Dwan Foundation is the only independent, public, medical foundation in the region, and we’re here, as a charitable organization, to support and promote your commitment to the health and well-being of the people in our communities. We carry out the wishes of our donors while improving the delivery of health care services, supporting health care education and advancing treatment through medical research.

Recent major projects created with ARTcetera funds include:

Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health, located in the Miller-Dwan Building of Essentia Health. Providing highly effective acute care in a freshly transformed environment, designed for optimal behavioral healthcare outcomes.

Amberwing – Center for Youth & Family Well-Being, a highly effective, innovative and accessible mental health care option for young people from birth to age 25 and their families.

Solvay Hospice House Compassionate Care Legacy Fund, providing a beautiful, peaceful, residential hospice facility for people at the end-of-life and their loved ones.

Caring Ways Cancer Resource Center, providing timely, accurate information regarding cancer diagnosis, treatment options, lifestyle considerations and compassionate support through group and individual activities.

As the area’s largest medical foundation, we have provided more than $32,000,000 in project support to critical healthcare needs by working with Essentia Health-Duluth (formerly Miller- Dwan Medical Center), Essentia Health-Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center and more than 50 other regional nonprofit organizations which address community health concerns.

By partnering with businesses, organizations, individuals and families, our funding makes a real difference to the people of our region; it makes our community a better place to live and work.
