Employee, Volunteer and Physician Campaign
You belong to a team.
A group of caregivers woven together by time.
By tradition.
By the compassion you share.
As an employee, volunteer or physician, your gifts have a significant impact. Your generous support builds funds that are used by departments throughout Essentia Health Duluth (formerly Miller-Dwan), Polinsky, and at Solvay Hospice House to purchase new patient care equipment, develop new programming, and educate patients, families and staff. Employees and physicians are encouraged to make gifts through payroll deduction. With payroll deduction, your gift amount is automatically deducted from your paycheck and contributed to the Miller-Dwan Foundation at each pay period. Payroll deduction gift amounts begin at $1 per pay period and have no maximum limit. Employee, volunteer and physician gifts totaling over $1,200 per year make the donor a member of the Asclepius Society.
As an employee, volunteer or physician, you can designate your gift to any of the Foundation's designated, endowment or Van Gorden funds, or to Amberwing - Center for Youth & Family Well-Being.

Asclepius Society
The Asclepius Society provides employees and physicians who give a minimum of $1,200 per year the chance to participate in philanthropy in a more hands-on, exciting way. Annually, the members of the Asclepius Society nominate worthy community non-profits that focus on healthcare for the opportunity to receive a $5,000 unrestricted award. The members of the Asclepius Society review the nomination and application forms and vote for the award winner. Asclepius Society members have the option of participating in a festive reception at which the winning organization accepts their award.
